Following closely behind, Porterville Transit is set to roll out its use of Uber’s software in early May. Previously reliant on Transloc, a software company owned by Ford, Porterville made the switch to Uber to benefit from what they describe as “enhanced reliability.” With a focus on improving service efficiency and responsiveness, Porterville is excited about the potential for better community engagement through technology.
